Empty Stomach! was at the Eurocultured street festival in Turku during September as part of the follow-up celebrations for the European Capital of Culture year. We used the new wireless enabled “eyeballs” inside the inflatable to control the interactive sound – as the eyeballs (inflatable balls that look like eyeballs) are thrown around, electronic sensors attached to them send movement data via X-Bee radio to a Pure Data patch controlling the soundscape.
