Thanks to the perseverence of the ISEA production team and support given to us by the Finnish Institute and the Finnish Embassy in London we were able to present “Empty Stomach” over two days at the Waterfront Centre in Belfast, as part of the International Symposium on Electronic Art 2009. The weather was not exactly kind to us (well, it was Belfast in August!) and rain and wind certainly did stop play on the second day as you can see from the pictures. But everyone who experienced “Empty Stomach” said it was great, so we were satisfied! The bluetooth Arduino held up perfectly this time, I decided that the crashes we experienced in Manchester were due to my new laptop (thanks, Microsoft!) so for Belfast I used the old one with no problems.
